Arielle Free was kicked off air last week after a tense exchange with co-host Charlie Hedges
Radio One DJ Arielle Free's replacement has been revealed, after she was pulled off air this week.
The BBC suspended the DJ after she had a fight with co-host Charlie Hedges on her Saturday Dance Anthems show.
Whilst on air, Arielle, 36, was told to “have some respect” before being kicked off by co-host Charlie, 37, during the chaotic broadcast.
Arielle’s replacement has been announced as Sian Eleri, 28, who will present Radio 1’s Future Artists in place of Arielle’s two-hour Monday to Wednesday slot.

Sian is a Welsh radio presenter and DJ, who currently hosts a range of Radio One shows, including Radio One’s Chillest Show.
Sian will replace Arielle for this week only, with the BBC Radio One’s website stating that Arielle will return next week.
The currently suspended presenter will host her Radio 1 Relax show, during her usual slot.
This news comes after Arielle’s fallout with co-host Charlie, where they were broadcasting live from the Ibiza Rocks Hotel.
The worse for wear Arielle joined Charlie very briefly on air as a guest speaker, before she started criticising the track that Charlie was playing.
The exchange began with a slurry Arielle, who said: “Hi, yeah, I sound great don’t I?”
Host Charlie replied, sounding slightly irritated: “You’ve sounded better, but it’s ok.”
Arielle defensively responded: “Well, this is what happened. You play on Friday and you play on Saturday and then your voice just goes.”
Arielle then began to criticise her host’s song choice: “Can I be honest with you Charlie? I expected better of you. I don’t like this song.”
Taken aback, Charlie responded: “Oh really?”
The song in question was MCR-T & horsegiirL’s My Barn, My Rules, which has gone viral on TikTok.

Arielle, who has been at the BBC since 2019, claimed she hated the tune.
Charlie, frustrated by Arielle’s behaviour, pulled the plug on the guest appearance: ““Sorry I’m taking your mic down, it’s my show Arielle, have some respect please.
“See you later. Get out of here.”
A spokesperson for Radio One said: “Whilst we would not comment on individual matters, we have strict codes of behaviour for staff and presenters, and any breaches are taken extremely seriously.”
Listeners at the time were shocked by the exchange.
One on twitter said: “@ariellefree @ahj that was awful, Charlie did well to shut you down. Any other job and you would be fired!"
Another praised Charlie and said: "Show some respect Arielle Free @BBCR1 Well done @charliehedges."
The pair are said to have been friends before the heated argument and they recently performed together at the Women’s FA Cup Final in May.
