Charlotte Gallagher swore mid-air whilst talking about PSNI data breach
A BBC News presenter swore in the middle of a live broadcast after an outtake was accidentally aired.
The awkward moment happened on Thursday, when presenter Charlotte Gallagher swore on air whilst she was broadcasting from the BBC Northern Ireland newsroom.
She was speaking about PSNI data breach but tripped over her words before attempting to start again.
It became obvious quickly that this wasn’t the finished package that should have been aired.
Matthew Amroliwala was hosting the news in the studio.

Gallagher once again stopped herself, saying: “I can't get my words out...f***.”
The presenter then rolled her tongue over her teeth as she tried to compose herself, before starting her sentence again.
It then cut back to anchor Matthew Amroliwala in the studio, who was hosting the news at the time.
He said: "Well apologies there for that confusion, that was our correspondent Charlotte Gallagher, she's been monitoring what's been happening there at that news conference.
"We will get more on that here in the next little while."
The mishap was noticed quickly on X – formerly Twitter – with one user saying: “Oh no... out-takes making it to air."
Another tweeted: "Been a few of these technical issues on the beeb recently. Wonder what's going wrong."
"I feel like I've just got a glimpse into your own personal hell," a third shared.
It soon became apparent that this what not meant to have been aired

But another praised both Gallagher and Amroliwala, writing: "Bless her - bet she was mortified when she realised that had gone out! @amroliwalabbc cool under pressure as ever!"
Before the blunder, Amroliwala was giving an update on the PSNI data breach.
The broadcaster tried to play a package, but it failed.
Amroliwala said: “Well apologies we can't bring you that clip, but our correspondent Charlotte Gallagher has this report.”
