Wilko tells customers to keep ‘eyes peeled’ as online store is ‘coming soon’
PA
All Wilko stores will have closed by the end of this week but customers could still be able to purchase products from Wilko.com soon
Wilko customers will “soon” be able to purchase products from the retailer again following the relaunch of Wilko.com.
The brand has posted several messages on X, formerly known as Twitter, giving consumers a glimpse of what they can expect.
In one post, published earlier this week, Wilko urged customers to keep their “eyes peeled” for Wilko.com, declaring it was “coming soon”.
The message read: “When the BBQ is away, the air fryer comes out to play! Perfect for a quick autumn night dinner For this and more kitchen electricals, keep your eyes peeled for wilko.com, coming soon.”

Another, posted yesterday, read: “Time for a home refresh? Shop diy essentials and much more soon on wilko.com.”
The brand has also been encouraging shoppers to give their views on what they’d like to see on the new Wilko.com website.
They ran a poll on X, asking: “Which Wilko product would you most like to see return” with customers able to choose from cleaning products, storage “bits and bobs”, home essentials and “everything for my garden”.
Wilko.com is currently a live website but states: "Home delivery returning soon."
Products are listed on the site with an "email when back in stock" button beside them.
Joint administrators at PwC said that after a “short period” of transition, they expect online operations to recommence.
As part of the deal, 36 employees from Wilko’s digital team have transferred over to The Range.
Jane Steer, joint administrator, said: “Since our appointment, the feedback from customers and wider stakeholders during this challenging period has reinforced the fact that Wilko remains a much loved and trusted brand within the UK.
“This sale to The Range will ensure that the Wilko name lives on under their ownership and we wish The Range every success.”
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
Some Wilko properties have been bought, with B&M agreeing to buy up to 51 stores while Poundland owner Pepco will buy up to 71 sites

Administrators announced all 400 Wilko stores were to close last month after failing to secure a rescue deal for the whole business.
Some Wilko properties have been bought, with B&M agreeing to buy up to 51 stores while Poundland owner Pepco has bought up to 71 sites.
Poundland has since reopened 10 locations under the Poundland branding, with 10 more locations due to open this weekend.
Workers were not directly transferred to Poundland as part of the rescue deal, but the chain has encouraged former Wilko employees to apply for the roles, stating it would “prioritise” them for jobs at the stores.
Poundland said on Tuesday that it had made job offers to more than 200 former Wilko staff, with that number “increasing day by day”.
