With interest rate cuts widely expected later this year, the clock may be ticking for savers to secure the best returns.
Although inflation has eased and the Bank of England has paused its rate hikes for now, many top savings deals are already starting to vanish.
This week’s leading accounts still offer competitive rates — but experts warn they may not stick around for long.
Analysts at Moneyfactscompare have compiled a list of the best savings accounts available in the UK for the week beginning April 14.
Rachel Springall, finance expert at Moneyfactscompare.co.uk said: "The bank holiday weekend should give people some free time to explore their savings habits, and those who want to rejuvenate their safety nets could grab a top rate regular savings account.
"A regular savings account encourages frequent deposits, so it can sit alongside a more common easy access account.
"Savers need to be vigilant to check their pots frequently and switch if their loyalty is not being paid but also act fast if they want to grab a lucrative fixed rate deal."
