Tesco Clubcard customers warned of deadline today as £11.5million points set to expire tonight

The points were first issued in August 2021, and shoppers can exchange Clubcard points for vouchers.

The vouchers can be spent in-store and online to save money on a Tesco shop, or they can be exchanged with Reward partners for twice the value.

Members collect one point for every pound spent on qualifying products, although the rules are slightly different for fuel purchases.

There are more than 100 Reward partners, including Pizza Express, Disney+ and Cineworld.

Clubcard customers can also opt to use the vouchers on their Tesco Mobile bill, although this is worth the same value as the points, rather than twice the voucher value like many Rewards.

Clubcard vouchers used to be worth three times more with Reward Partners, but this was reduced to two times earlier this year.

​The rules for collecting points on fuel have also changed.

Now, shoppers can collect one point for every two litres of fuel purchased at Tesco Petrol Filling Stations.

Customers can get one point for every £3 spent on fuel at Esso sites with a Tesco Express shop.

Customers can turn every 150 points into £1.50 of vouchers, which can be exchanged for £3 in vouchers with Reward partners.

Members can request their vouchers via two ways, either via the Clubcard account or on the Tesco Grocery & Clubcard app.

Alternatively, customers can wait and Tesco will turn every 250 points into £2.50 in vouchers, sent with the quarterly statement.

They can then be spent in-store and online.

Tesco introduced its Clubcard Prices scheme in 2019, allowing members to unlock deals on selected products, and relaunched it the following year.
