The change will affect millions of customers who use the digital version of their Clubcard when shopping.

Those who fail to update before the end of March will be unable to use their digital Clubcard when shopping in-store.
Tesco has sent a message to customers explaining the update: "To increase your data protection and online security, we're updating our Tesco app to a newer version."
The supermarket warns: "After March 31, older versions of the app will no longer work."
Many shoppers rely on the app instead of carrying physical Clubcards, which can save them significant amounts on their shopping.
