NatWest and RBS to close 142 bank branches in 2023/24 – full list of closures

NatWest runs a mobile branch service at various locations throughout the year which customers can visit if they wish to.
The NatWest Group is closing 142 bank branches this year and next, in a blow for its customers who prefer in-person banking.
NatWest said banking has changed “dramatically” in recent years, with demand for mobile and online services rising.
The bank has said closing a branch is a decision it takes “very seriously”.
NatWest said its Community Pop-up will be available in selected locations for up to 12 weeks after changes to their branch network.
NatWest also highlights customers can visit the Post Office for some banking tasks such as checking balances

Customers can log in to their accounts, make payments or transfer money between accounts via Mobile Banking and Online Banking. The bank also has a 24/7 telephone line.
Customers who are over 60 or in a period of extended isolation can contact NatWest’s team of Customer Care experts on its dedicated support line, which is open from 8am to 8pm, seven days a week. The number is: 0800 051 4176 (Relay UK: 18001 0800 051 4176).
On its bank branch closures section of the website, NatWest also highlights customers can visit the Post Office, where they can use their debit card to withdraw cash, check balances, and deposit cash and cheques using a barcoded pay-in book or CHIP and PIN debit card.
