Banks, including NatWest, are launching free cash incentives to encourage new customers to sign up
NatWest is offering new customers a free £180 if they switch accounts to the bank - but only for a limited time.
The high street financial institution has launched a new account switch offer for those who transition from their main current account to the bank's Reward Account.
How to claim NatWest's free £180
Both new and existing customers have to use the Current Account Switcher Service to make the move between accounts.
Furthermore, customers have to pay £1,250 into NatWest's Reward Account and log into the bank's mobile banking app within 60 days of switching to be eligible.
In its announcement, NatWest cited that this deal is only available for a "limited time" and could be ended at any given time.
On top of the free £180, there are also opportunities to earn more cash thanks to NatWest's various deals and accounts with competitive savings interest rates.

Customers could also claim an extra £60 back in Rewards annually by signing up to the bank's Reward Account annually.
Every month, customers will get £4 in Rewards if they have two Direct Debits of £2 or more. An extra £1 is received for logging into the mobile app.
It should be noted that the Reward account has a monthly fee of £2. Bank customers will also be able to take advantage of partner offers, including money off at a range of retailers.
Notably, savings customers can access NatWest's Digital Regular Saver which pays an interest rate of six per cent.
Through this particular product, savers can put away up to £150 a month in the account and gain up to £59.93 interest in the first year.
Unlike other accounts, the Digital Regular Saver does not expire which means customers can claim even more interest in years to come.
Lewis Broadie, a customer manager at NatWest, broke down why Britons should switch to the bank as soon as possible.
He explained: "As well as the upfront cash offer, we offer a wide range of features and benefits, from helping kids with their money through our Rooster offering to our save the change feature, Round Ups."
