Nationwide Building Society offering free £220 cash boost - but only to select customers

The building society has updated the offering attached to its FlexStudent current account
Nationwide Building Society has announced the launch of a brand new offering which could see customers claim the equivalent of £220 in free cash.
The high street financial institution is offering £100 cashback and £120 in free Just Eat vouchers - but only for select customers.
This deal is being provided by Nationwide's FlexStudent current account and is available as of today.
The particular savings account currently offers an interest-free and fee-free arranged overdraft of up to £3,000 by the third year.
Furthermore, the FlexStudent product provides commission-free purchases and cash withdrawals when savers are abroad.
In order to claim this cashback and the vouchers, which are awarded £10 every month, students must apply for a FlexStudent account from July 16.

The building society is updating its student offering
NATIONWIDE BUILDING SOCIETYFurthermore, they must deposit £500 by December 13, 2024 and meet all of Nationwide's eligibility criteria.
As part of the cashback offering, students will get £100 into their FlexStudent account within 14 calendar days of crediting £500 to their account.
Eligible account openings will get a £10 voucher code monthly for the first full calendar year which can used online.
Access to these vouchers will be provided within 14 days of the student becoming eligible.
Tom Riley, the director of Retail Products at Nationwide Building Society, outlined why Britons should take advantage of this deal while they still can.
He explained: "We think your student bank account should help you live your best life at university and we hope our cashback offer and Just Eat collaboration helps make their first year that little bit easier.
"Combined with the interest-free, fee-free arranged overdraft and commission-free usage abroad, we’re doing what we can to help make university life as simple and fun as possible.”
Notably, Nationwide is not the only high street lender handing out an olive branch to younger bank customers,
Santander has launched a prize draw for new Santander Edge Student current account customers, with 20 students due to win £27,750.
This the equivalent three years’ worth of tuition fees with an additional 30 students in line to win £9,250, the equivalent of one year of tuition fees.

PAOn top of this, all Santander Edge Student current account holders also benefit from a free four-year Santander 16-25 Railcard card.
