Jeremy Hunt issues staunch defence of Tory taxation record as he outlines 'fundamental divide'

Chancellor Jeremy Hunt says the Covid pandemic has to take blame for the current level of taxation as he issued a staunch defence of the Government's record on the matter.

He said the Conservative Government is beginning to bring taxes down and the difference will soon become noticeable.
