Boots is closing more stores next month as pharmacy chain shuts down hundreds of sites

Boots customers across the UK may want to check to see if they’re affected by upcoming store closures
Boots is set to close five more stores in the UK from next month, with shoppers in Kent, Wolverhampton and Norwich among those set to be affected.
The retailer is continuing with its plans to shut hundreds of UK stores, after announcing plans to cut its store estate by around 300 in 2023 and 2024.
Boots will reduce its 2,200 store estate to around 1,900, in a move to concentrate team members “where they are needed”.
A spokesperson said last year: "Evolving the store estate in this way allows Boots to concentrate its team members where they are needed and focus investment more acutely in individual stores with the ambition of consistently delivering an excellent and reliable service in a fresh and up-to-date environment."

GB News has contacted Boots asking for comment.
Boots shut its pharmacy in Collington Mansions, Bexhill on Sea, East Sussex this weekend.
Although the alternative Boots is less than a mile away, local residents were left concerned about the impact the closure would have on other pharmacies in the area.
One told GB News they thought it would “put a great strain on other pharmacies” in a town with a “sizeable elderly population”.
