Barclays has announced 9 more bank branch closures - full list of branches closing in 2023

The high street banking giant will close seven branches in England and two in Wales.

The nine closures announced this month come on top of the 156 already announced closures which will take place in 2023.

The bank says customers can continue to use the Barclays app or online banking, as well as Pingit and telephone banking.

All customers can withdraw or deposit cash and check balances using their Barclays debit card and PIN at thousands of Post Office branches.

They can also pay cheques into their account at the Post Office.

Barclays said customers can print off a mini statement at Barclays cash machines. They can use LINK cash machines to withdraw cash, check balances and request a receipt.
