Overall, Lloyds Bank will shut down 21 locations, while Halifax and Bank of Scotland will close 22 and 10 branches, respectively.
This comes as a blow to the banking group’s customers in the affected communities who are finding themselves with less options for physical services.
Concerns have been raised by experts that millions could be left without sufficient access to cash a result of this trend.
Recent data from Which? suggests that around 5,791 branches across the country have closed since January 2015.

Customers of Lloyds and Bank of Scotland can check to see if they have a “mobile branch” service operating in their local area.
This service is usually set up on certain dates during a set time but is only accessible until May 2024 and does not offer cash services.
Following this, bank customers are encouraged to approach a “banking hub” if one is operating in their area.
While there, they can use the “community banker” for assistance when accessing certain banking services. These hubs are located in shared public services, usually on high streets.
