Bank branch closures are set to continue throughout June 2024, albeit at a smaller rate than previous months.
Currently, 14 locations from banks and building societies will shut down next month in a blow to customers.
Among the high street financial institutions closing sites include Lloyds Bank, Halifax and Danske Bank.
In recent years, concerns have been made over peoples’ access to cash services amid the trend of branch closures with three million at risk of losing in-person banking.
While banks are continuing to leave the high street, the number of confirmed closures for June is significantly less than the dozens which shut down in May.

Other banks that have shut down doors in the last couple of years have included Santander and NatWest.
