The UK’s third-largest supermarket is using its rewards scheme to save customers cash
Asda’s rewards scheme has helped save customers £100m this year.
More than five million customers use the 74-year-old supermarket’s rewards app every month.
Customers can help reduce their grocery bills by using the online app.
The loyalty scheme ensures customers can earn cash rather than points.

However, customers must purchase certain products or complete a milestone mission to do so.
Asda provides a more tailored shopping experience to customers since the app officially launched.
The supermarket increased the number of personalised missions.
This has helped mean customers will see an evolution of offers within the app based on how they use it.

Customers in the capital have earned almost £5million in their cashpots.
But Asda-goers in Customers are the highest earners.
Customers north of the border have received a total of over £13.5m back into their cashpots.
Asda customers can also look at getting ahead of the school rush for the next academic year by using the supermarket’s Back to School boost.

If customers choose to use £15 from their Cashpot on school uniform before 18 June, a £20 voucher will be added to their wallet which can be redeemed in-store.
Senior director for loyalty at Asda, Mark Baxter said: “We’re really pleased to see that Rewards users are continuing to benefit from using the app.”
He added: “This milestone shows that by earning pounds and building their Cashpots, our customers are being rewarded for simply shopping with Asda.”
Asda has more than 145,000 dedicated workers serving more than 18 million customers who shop in their stores every week.
