Thousands of migrants to cross the channel on Christmas Day
Migrants gather and prepare to cross the channel on Christmas day.

Let’s not forget only recently there was a migrant who was on a boat leaving France with about 90 illegal migrants on board, the French police took approximately 50 people off because they thought it was overcrowded and allowed 40 to carry on to come to us. I don’t have a problem from any legal migrants fleeing war, but these are economic illegal migrants. We have to stop the boats by getting Nigel Farage in. - Catherine Collins
Anyone helping the migrants cross the channel is aiding and abetting illegal migration! the French allowing the migrants to build camps are aiding and abetting illegal migration. - Chris The Werewolf
Assuming 2000 immigrants arrive here, where are they going to be housed? Maybe a statement from The Home Secretary. I believe Kiers “on call” - The Beach Boy
I’ve asked before but why, since we are unable to stop the migrants, do we offer a free taxi ride for them after they have left French shores? Surely, if they have make the whole crossing with the knowledge that they will be collected by police once they hit landfall, it must act a modest deterrent - which is better than nothing. - Colin Morris
Looks like Starmer will be smashing another record, thousands of illegals coming in one or two days in December. Smashing the gangs ain’t working. - Joseph Pennings
Violent illegal migrants.. being given a free pass into the U.K, plus cozy accommodation, free food, free travel, etc. I feel so powerless with all of this. I have 2 teenagers, one daughter. I feel desperately afraid for her safety. - Julia Fawcett-M
If the French authorities know where these illegal immigrants are gathering, they will also know where these boats are. There are no excuses. Before leaving they will be carrying ID passports etc. These should be checked there. Is this too easy? - David Bird

Keir Starmer is an atheist I believe, his Christmas message again read from a Teleprompter so blatantly obvious, how difficult is it to put a Christmas message together you have all the ingredients of the season there in front of you. He is so removed from the vast majority of the people in this country and has no idea of the country's needs. - Brian Dunkley
