Rishi Sunak has hailed the UK's "proud tradition of free speech" in an exclusive message for GB News members.
In a new video message, the Prime Minister said that, like GB News viewers, he "believes in having frank and honest debates" about "the things that really matter", such as stopping the boats and tackling the cost of living crisis.
Sunak's remarks came alongside his announcement that he will be holding a Peoples' Forum for GB News viewers on February 12 - the first major event of this year's general election campaign.
The PM will take questions from the public at 8pm next Monday as part of the exclusive GB News event.

He said he will use the forum to explain what the Government is doing to "tackle the issues that really matter to you", including "stopping the boats, cutting NHS waiting lists, easing the pressures on the cost of living".
Sunak's personal address to GB News members also saw him argue that the Conservative Party has a "plan to build a brighter future for everyone right across our incredible country".
While he admitted having taken "difficult decisions last year", he pointed out that the Government is now cutting taxes and inflation is now "in half".
The PM claimed the plan is now "working".
Giving a personal address to GB News members,Sunak said: "I want to let you know that on February 12th, I'll be coming on the channel for a special Peoples' Forum.
"I have a plan to build a brighter future for everyone right across our incredible country. We took difficult decisions last year but with inflation half and taxes being cut, we're sticking with the plan because it's working.
"I'll be taking questions from a live studio audience and explaining what we're doing to tackle the issues that really matter to you. Stopping the boats, cutting NHS waiting lists, easing the pressures on the cost of living.
