From scrapping the Winter Fuel Allowance to single occupancy council tax discounts - Labour seems to be targeting British pensioners.
Retirees are in the firing line, as Rayner yesterday refused to rule out axing council tax discounts for singles.
With most pensioners living alone, this is another policy aimed at targeting the older generations.
In reaction, Maggie Morse, a GB News member said: "Pensioners ARE under attack from the government and it is despicable.
"Nothing to look forward to now in getting old."
Removing winter fuel payments from 10 million retirees also adds to the suggestion that Labour is serious about whittling down pensioners' wealth.
