Nana Akua revealed that she had recently become engaged during today's edition of Britain's Newsroom and afterwards delivered an exclusive message to GBN members thanking them for all their congratulations and support.
Nana announced her plans to tie the knot with Stephen Gillen whom she first met two years ago after interviewing him on The People's Channel.
GBN presenter Nana began by saying "I just want to say a huge thank you to all of you for your lovely, lovely messages. Thank you very much."

She went on to discuss her engagement and said "Listen, seriously men, if you're watching or listening, it was the best proposal ever. He took me to Venice. Yes, I had a sort of inkling that maybe he would, maybe wouldn't."
Nana added "He got a palace for us. There was a piano, there was everything. It literally was the best proposal ever."
Nana couldn't wait to put on her engagement ring on saying "I got it slightly wrong because, you know, when they present the ring to you, you're supposed to wait for them to give you the ring, because I looked at it in the box, I took it and just put it on my finger!"
Nana ended by reiterating her thanks to members "It was perfect, it's lovely. So thank you very much for all your amazing messages. Thank you."
