Michelle Dewberry thanked GB News members for their support as she reflected on "people making it their mission to try and close GB news down".
Speaking during a Meet the Presenters LIVE event, which was exclusive to VIP members, Michelle said: "I very much appreciate each and every one of you, as GB News VIP members.

"We believe passionately in free speech here, and we really do need support in that as well, because I think you all probably know just how difficult things are being made for us.
"There are a lot of people out there who are making it their mission to try and close GB News down.

"So our members really are important to us and we appreciate all of you. So thank you very much."
VIP GB News members were invited to join Michelle for a live online Q&A.
It was the third in a series of Meet the Presenters LIVE events.
During the chat, Michelle was asked whether she'd consider standing as an independent candidate in a general election again.

She explained: "My motivation was that I am passionate about my hometown, which is Hull - West Hull to be specific.
"You might think this is egotistical, but I passionately believed that I could represent the city better than the people who have been running the city for a very long time.
"I think I've got a different outlook, different approach, and that's why I ran not just once, but twice."
