Emily Carver has offered her assessment of pictures emerging of Princess Kate as she continues her recovery from planned abdominal surgery.
Speaking to GB News members, Carver recalled a conversation she had with ex-BBC royal correspondent Michael Cole on her show about how the images could have been a “happy coincidence” for the royals.
The images appeared on American celebrity news website TMZ amid speculation of her whereabouts, with Kate not being seen since her surgery.
“Perhaps it’s a good thing that she’s appeared in public”, said Carver.
“Some of the speculation can be put to bed. She is up, looking well.”
The GB News host also spoke on Kate’s uncle, Gary Goldsmith, who is making headlines with his appearance on Celebrity Big Brother.
“I think there’s something undignified abut spilling the beans on royal affairs”, she said.
“Especially when you’re so close to the Royal Family and they won’t be able to directly reply to what he says.”
