Four of GB News' Breakfast presenters walked the stage to accept their award for a second year in a row
Eamonn Holmes issues a health update today and admitted that his hospital operation - which happened a year and a half ago - went wrong and left him with other issues, but that didn't dampen his mood after the TRIC award win.
The GB News Breakfast presenter underwent spinal surgery in 2022 following years of chronic back pain and previously had a double-hip replacement in 2016.
His spinal surgery left him with a weakened left leg and just over two weeks into his recovery from the operation, Eamonn fell backwards down 18 stairs at his Weybridge home, hitting the stone floor at the bottom.
Writing on his social media after the operation, he said: "Worked hard at my physio this morning, very tiring but I've now sat on my backside for 5 hours and feel bad about doing nothing.
"Lack of mobility & depending on others stops me doing really simple things. For peace of mind I feel another round of foot exercises coming on."
Today, Eamonn opened up about the failed operation and was assisted to the stage before noting: "Thank you very much indeed and the quality of the opposition that you are up against says a lot, really all class programmes and that makes this that little bit more special.

"Sometimes I think we have got imposter syndrome, why us, that sort of thing.
"I went for an operation a year and a half ago and it went wrong so I got two things in my back that I didn't want so why not, I will have this, happily accept this, thank you very much indeed."
The star was joined by co-stars Stephen Dixon, Ellie Costello and Isabel Webster as they accepted the award for a second year in a row.
Stephen spoke on the award win first and expressed: "I want to say on behalf of all of us, we are so thrilled to have won this for the second year running. So pleased for everyone who voted for us, thank you very much indeed.
"And for everyone who watches and listens to us, those figures are growing week on week and we are so pleased that more people are tuning in."

Isabel also thanked their viewers: "Speaking for the girls as well, I just wanted to say thank you to all our team. We're very small, we work our socks off and we really think we're doing something right because the figures seem to (grow) and we thank everybody who voted for us today."
Ellie added: "Thank you to our small mighty team and we mean it when we say the audience is at the heart of absolutely everything that we do.
"The audience has voted for us for the second year running so they clearly like what we do and we promise we're gonna keep doing it, so thank you very much."
Stephen also paid tribute to Anne Diamond for being a "key part of the team".
