Just yesterday, Colombia's own president was forced to eat his words and offer up his presidential plane to take back scores of Colombian illegal migrants from the US.

Trump's Secretary of State Marco Rubio has vowed his country will "no longer be lied to nor taken advantage of" - but back in Britain, Labour is overseeing wave after wave of illegal arrivals and visa overstays.

A few weeks ago, the Home Office said it had returned more than 16,400 illegal migrants and foreign criminals since the General Election - but around three quarters of that figure were "voluntary returns".
