Laying out just how quickly the growth of GB News has accelerated, Dan said: "It's been an incredible year for GB News online.
"Over the last seven months, we have been the UK's fastest growing news website.
"In the last 12 months, we've seen 500% growth.
"This year alone, in October, we did 62 million page views on the website. And in total, in just 2 1/2 years on YouTube, we've now passed a billion video views."
Elaborating on the fresh approach GB News is taking, Dan reiterated that: "We are the people's channel. Too often what you see with more established media brands, even establishment media brands, is they dictate the news agenda from the top down.
"They will tell you, the reader, what you should care about. We do a bit different here. We actually look at the data and we listen to your views and we decide our news agenda based on what you really care about. And that's what I think is different."
