Tom Harwood has spoken out on his shock at making a surprise appearance on Amazon Prime series Clarkson’s Farm.
The GB News star was a bystander when Charlie and Caleb passed him as they made their way to Downing Street.
The pair were heading to a meeting with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak where they spoke about this week’s Farm to Fork Summit.
“I was watching them stride down Whitehall, passing the Cabinet Office”, Tom told GB News members.
“I had to do a double take because I was leaning up against the wall. I was there to doorstep some Cabinet ministers.
“As a deputy political editor on the channel, I am often mixing around that area. I had a vague memory of seeing a TV crew walk down Whitehall with some people that I recognised, being a fan of the series, but I had no idea that I’d make it sneakily into the background of the shot.
“It came as a bit of a surprise to see me. I have to say, I do regret not walking up to them, interrupting the conversation and just shaking their hands.
“It’s a great show, but a pleasure to have a very brief cameo in it.”
