Boris Johnson set for a return to CABINET? Tom Harwood and Emily Carver give GB News members the inside track

GB News presenters Emily Carver and Tom Harwood have spoken out on suggestions that Boris Johnson is being lined up for a role in the Cabinet.

Former Chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng has urged the Prime Minister to call upon the party's former leader in what would be yet another shock return for a former PM, the first being David Cameron's introduction as Foreign Secretary.

Harwood and Carver spoke to Tory MPs, allied with Boris Johnson to learn more about how a return would work in practice.

Rishi Sunak’s party is languishing in the polls and a return potentially “smacks of desperation”, Harwood suggested.

He added that a return for Johnson would be “fireworks”, which in itself, could make such a move worthwhile.
