The recall was issued earlier this year and shoppers may still have the affected products in date at home.
Farmer shares fears over fruit and veg farming in the UK
The product contained the wrong cereal, potentially posing a health or allergy risk.
Tesco said: "We’re recalling one date code of Tesco Free From Bran Flakes 300g.
"This is because it may contain another type of cereal called chocolate pillows, which contains milk and hazelnut.
"So, it might not be safe to consume this product for people with an allergy or intolerance to milk and/or nuts."
Anyone who finds they have the items can return them to stores for a full refund.

The product has been sold in a number of other supermarkets and could be dangerous for consumers with allergies.
A statement said: "[The recall] is because it may contain a small quantity of incorrect product which contains egg and milk.
"This could be a safety risk to people with an allergy or intolerance to egg and/or milk."

Frozen food items have been recalled

The product could still be in the freezer of shoppers and it could pose a potential health risk.
A Tesco statement said: "We’re recalling two date codes of ITSU 4 Chocolate Bao Buns 180g.
"This is because it may contain milk which isn’t declared on the product’s ingredients label. This could make people with a milk allergy become unwell."
The Food Standards Agency shared advice for anyone who has purchased the foods.
It said: "If you have bought the above product do not eat it. Instead, return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund (with or without a receipt)."
Tesco has made a number of changes shoppers will see in stores as a new feature rolls out.
It recently shared new packaging on some products that include air fryer cooking instructions.
