Shoppers will be able to choose from more time slots
Tesco has expanded its same-day delivery and collection services across more than 400 UK stores, offering customers significantly earlier slots for their shopping needs.
The supermarket chain has moved its same-day home delivery start time forward by six hours to 1pm, while Click+Collect services now begin at midday instead of 4pm.
This market-leading move gives shoppers more flexibility with their online grocery orders, with extended windows for both delivery and collection options.
The new timings represent a significant shift from Tesco's previous schedule, which offered home delivery slots between 7pm and 11pm.

Under the expanded service, customers can now receive their shopping between 1pm and 11pm for home delivery.
Click+Collect services have also been extended, moving from the previous 4pm to 8pm window to a new schedule of 12pm to 8pm.
These changes affect more than 400 large stores across the UK, offering customers an additional four to six hours of flexibility for their same-day shopping.
Tesco's online managing director Tom Denyard said: "We are excited to have rolled out more same-day opportunities for customers to get an online slot, offering customers more spaces and therefore more flexibility than ever before.
"This allows them to book closer to their delivery or collection time and therefore improve our market-leading customer experience."
Customers can book their slots through Tesco's website or app, with orders needing to be placed or amended by 8:45am on the day of delivery.
Same-day slots are included in Anytime Delivery Saver and Click+Collect Delivery Saver plans.
Off-Peak plan members and Pay As You Go customers will need to pay the standard slot price, plus a small surcharge.
