Like Sir James Dyson's eponymous technology company, Shark has expanded beyond vacuum cleaners into premium hair tools.
Enter, the Shark SpeedStyle Ionic Hair Dryer. This do-it-all dryer, which claims to be the lightest on the market, is designed to take your hair from wet to dry and styled in minutes — without any heat damage.
Shark's 5-in-1 styler has a lot in common with the best-selling Dyson AirWrap too, with its attachment that relies on the coanda technology — an aerodynamic phenomenon that uses airflow and pressure to pull in hair and wrap it around the barrel — to smooth down flyaways.
It's currently on sale from an RRP of £239.99 down to just £129.99 on Amazon. The discount is part of its site-wide Prime Day sale, which ends at 11.59pm tonight.
Shark's premium 5-in-1 hair dryer and styler comes with a swathe of different attachments, including the DeFrizzFast Diffuser, Turbo Concentrator, QuickSmooth Brush, Express TouchUp Brush, and RapidGloss Finisher

There are a total of five accessories included in the Shark SpeedStyle Ionic Hair Dryer's arsenal: DeFrizzFast Diffuser, Turbo Concentrator, QuickSmooth Brush, Express TouchUp Brush, and RapidGloss Finisher.
Shark was awarded a Cosmopolitan Beauty Award last year for its clever hair care.
At £239.99, the Shark SpeedStyle Ionic Hair Dryer is priced competitively with the Dyson Supersonic (usually £279.99, but available from £199 at Boots for a limited time) and Dyson AirWrap (£399.99).
With its dramatically discounted price of £129.99, the 5-in-1 Shark SpeedStyle Ionic Hair Dryer is now cheaper than the standard Shark Style iQ Hair Dryer, which is usually £179.99 but has now dropped to £154.99. This 2-in-1 tool forgoes the coanda technology and a rapid gloss finisher attachment for a more traditional hair dryer.
The latest hair dryer deals from Shark are just a handful of the thousands of blockbuster deals included in the Prime Day sale. As always with this annual site-wide sale, you'll need to be a Prime member to be able to access any of these deals.
Without Prime membership, you'll be stuck paying the full RRP for items that've been discounted in the sale. You'll also lose out on next-day delivery at no extra cost on thousands of items.
But becoming an Amazon Prime member doesn't have to cost you anything.
That's because the US shopping giant offers a 30-day free trial of its membership scheme. Sign up, then cancel immediately and you'll still be able to enjoy all of the perks of Prime membership for a month.
If you don't cancel, you'll be charged the usual £8.99 per month fee at the end of the free trial period. We've written an in-depth guide on this loyalty scheme to work out "is Amazon Prime worth it in 2024".
