Women over 50 have been advised to ditch larger prints in favour of small, ditsy ones
While ageing is inevitable, many women want to appear slightly younger than their years.
A style influencer for women over 50 shared her top tips for looking "10 years younger". She recommended avoiding clothing featuring big prints.
Annemarie from My Over 50 Fashion Life told middle-aged ladies: "Often, large prints are associated with our age group and the shops will push those large prints - for some reason they think it appeals to us.
"Do the opposite - do the absolute opposite. Go for the smaller, ditsy prints."

Another style influencer made the same assertion, telling women they could drop a decade off their appearance if they ditched a certain print.
She urged ladies to consider forgoing large floral prints for smaller ones - "small florals don't tend to look as dated".
Digital creator So Heather agreed, advising that women over 40 should avoid "crazy prints - especially mixed prints".
She said: "Mixed prints not only age you, but they are also out of style so definitely avoid that combo."
In a similar vein, the over-50s fashionista advised women in this age group to steer clear of matching sets.
She claimed that shops also tend to "push" matching sets at mature women, namely ones comprised of a blouse featuring a large print on it and a necklace with the same print. "Avoid it," instructed Annemarie.
In addition to prints, the style influencer also encouraged ladies over 50 to pay attention to the str:ucture of their clothing.
Annemarie stated: "We need structure as we get older. Often when I'm looking at somebody and I think it looks a bit dated and frumpy, it's because the outfit has got so much material, it's got no shape definition - the item's got no shoulder structure for instance - those aren't great on us."
She claimed that outfits without structure "cling" to the body and make you look "overwhelmed in the clothing".
Adding a touch of structure might allow you to wear the clothes as opposed to them wearing you.
