One said: "We have just spent a pleasant weekend staying with friends who reside near Teddington Lock.
"This is a very picturesque place to be and we did a walk by the Thames into Richmond."
Another added: "Wonderful nature and views on a riverside walk to Teddington Lock.
"Interesting waterworks at the lock, lock keeper's house and impressive barrage and footbridge over the Thames."
