An expert has shared how to tackle the skin concerns many women have

Dry skin, uneven skin tones and, of course, wrinkles are huge concerns women hope to tackle during their skin care routines.

An expert suggested the ingredients to look out for in your products to get your best skin. Keeping your skin well-hydrated is one of the most important steps for your anti-ageing routine.

Wrinkles are a natural part of ageing, but many women will still want to reduce how visible these are, vice president of Elizabeth Grant Skin Care Margot Grant Witz explained.

She said: "We've been seeing a shift towards embracing the natural ageing process, with people seeking out advanced skin care to help with any concerns rather than turning to aesthetic intervention.

"In 2025, many are focusing on non-invasive ways to reduce fine lines while preserving their natural beauty, which is at the core of Elizabeth Grant Skin Care. Enhancing collagen production and hydration is crucial for achieving this. Our award-winning, hero Supreme Essence of Torricelumn is the ultimate for this."

Skin that is dehydrated can look sunken and fine lines become particularly visible. Indeed, experts at the Mayo Clinic said: "Dry skin shrivels plump skin cells, which can lead to fine lines and wrinkles.

"Make it a habit to gently wash your face and moisturise it every day. Moisturising traps water in the skin."

Products high in retinol, niacinamide and vitamin C are particularly beneficial. However, Margot shared a warning about overusing strong products.

She continued: "With the ever-growing popularity of actives like retinol, glycolic acid, and vitamin C, skin barrier damage is becoming more commonplace as consumers overuse these potent ingredients.

"While these ingredients are good for anti-ageing and hydration, using too much can affect the skin's barrier. A damaged skin barrier can make it easier for harmful toxins to penetrate the skin.

This will weaken naturally with age, so using the correct products will mitigate the damage this causes.

Margot continued: "A strong barrier is the foundation of healthy skin and nurturing it will allow all your other products to work more effectively.

"To reap the benefits of an exfoliating active, I recommend using our Wonder Effect Night Wonder Concentrate PM Reset."
