Keeping heels soft becomes increasingly challenging as our feet are exposed to the elements and daily wear.
Thankfully, adding an effective exfoliant to your foot care regimen can have a significant impact in a short space of time.
TikToker Anna Mae Groves, aged 49, recently revealed to her viewers that glycolic acid and moisturiser are the secret products behind her “baby soft feet”.
She said: “People want to know how I get the smooth heels, at age 49, baby-butt smooth, without having had a pedicure in two years."

The skincare enthusiast demonstrated how she massages glycolic acid solution directly into her heels after showering.
She follows this with an application of Kiehl's Creme de Corps moisturiser to seal in the treatment.
"I do this every single day after my shower, and I promise you that in a week, you're going to be thanking me," Anna told her followers.
Sharing a bonus tip with viewers, she said: "By the way, if you do this on your armpits, your armpits are going to look really good."
The simple two-step process garnered attention from viewers, with some confirming the trick had worked for them
One person commented: "Amazing!!! I have had calluses on one of my feet for years that nothing would get rid of. After a few weeks of doing this, they are gone!"
Others shared that they were keen to give the hack a try, with one person chiming in: "My heels are like sandpaper."
The product - and similar products - essentially soften the heels by reducing a build-up of dead skin in the area.

Glycolic acid can soften the heels within days
GETTYAccording to WebMD, glycolic acid is classified as an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), a natural compound found in foods, with glycolic acid specifically derived from sugarcane.
The acid works by removing the uppermost layers of dead skin cells, potentially helping to reverse sun damage.
While commonly used in skin care for treating acne, ageing skin, and dark patches on the face, its effectiveness for other conditions requires further scientific research.
To date, however, many users across social media platforms have reported positive results with glycolic acid on their heels.
