Sainsbury's shares urgent recall as items could catch fire - 'do not use'

Sainsbury's has an active recall for a number of toasters due to a fire risk.
Shoppers who have purchased the products can return them.
Bosch Styline Toasters, sold in Sainsbury's stores, have been voluntarily recalled after a possible technical fault was discovered.
A statement said: "Bosch is voluntarily recalling the above Styline Toaster models produced from October 2021 to April 2023 as the quality checks have revealed a technical fault which can cause the electronics to overheat and could cause a toaster fire."

Shoppers should look out for the below batches:
Bosch Styline Toaster Black with SKU 120143161 and product code TAT8613GB
Bosch Styline Toaster White with SKU 120141406 and product code TAT8611GB
Bosch Styline Toaster Black with SKU 136092531 and product code TAT8613GB
Shoppers can check the codes on the nameplate on the bottom of their toaster.
Those who have bought one of the above items are also asked to stop using it straight away.
The statement continued: "To minimize safety risks, please disconnect any affected toaster from the mains supply immediately and do not use it.

A number of products have recently been recalled from Asda, Lidl and Morrisons.
Asda has recalled the Shark Rashvest as it was found to be non-compliant with safety standards.
Morrisons issued a warning for the ZURU Robotic Baby Shark Sing and Swim Bath Toy (with a plastic top fin) due to a possible safety issue.
Lidl shared a warning for its Playtive 3-in-1 Swing as it could cause injury.
