Disruptions could occur in Manchester as Manchester Pride is set to take place this weekend.
A Royal Mail statement said: "The Manchester Pride Parade takes place on Saturday, 26 August.
"There may be some disruption to deliveries, collections, and other services in the M1-3 postcode areas due to road closures and limited access in and around the parade route.
"Our Customer Service Points will remain open for you to drop off your mail."
Offices in Ware are most likely to be affected by any disruptions today.
Royal Mail continued: "Deliveries are operating as normal across the UK today. We aim to deliver to all addresses we have mail for, six days a week.
"In a small number of local offices, this may temporarily not be possible due to local issues such as high levels of sick absence, resourcing, or other local factors.
"In those cases, we will rotate deliveries to minimise the delay to individual customers.
