Michael Sheen gave up his home in the United States to live in a quiet part of the UK
Michael Sheen has lived across the world but it is now the Welsh countryside he calls home.
The successful actor recently moved back to the region where he was born after selling his properties.
In 2021, Michael shared he had become a "not-for-profit actor" and moved back to Wales to help the people of his home country.
The activist sold the homes he owned and opted for a more modest life near Port Talbot, south Wales.
His hometown is by a beautiful beach

Port Talbot is a quiet town located around eight miles from Swansea.
It is where the actor grew up and is home to Aberavon Beach.
"Aberavon seafront is one of Wales’ longest beaches and has a contemporary promenade that overlooks Swansea Bay," Visit Wales states.
"This place is popular whatever the weather, and boasts an Aquasplash playground, children’s play areas and Apollo Cinema."
The beach has nearly 700 reviews on Tripadvisor and a great rating of 4.5 out of five stars.
One visitor wrote: "A beautiful sandy beach. As we chose to visit in October, the dogs were permitted to run on the sands.
"Clean sands and well looked after boulevard."
Another added it is a "gorgeous" and "beautiful long beach with plenty to do along the promenade".

The Welsh singing legend Bonnie Tyler also lived near the area.
She owned a home in south Wales that is "steeped in history".
