Britons looking to sell a home will want to increase its value before doing so. According to an expert, the "easiest way" to do so is to get to work with a special paint colour.
Estate agent Corey Adamson (@coreytherealestateagent on TikTok) suggested that a lick of white paint can make a major difference.
He said: "I sell a lot of properties per year. Everybody always asks me as soon as I walk through the door, 'Is there anything you can recommend to make our house worth more?'"
To this, his "number one" suggestion is white paint. Corey suggested homeowners paint their internal walls and ceilings white.
The right paint colour can make a big difference

You may think that white is "bland" and that other colours have more personality, but it enables interested parties to imagine themselves and their own vision in the space.
The expert continued: "For the sake of photos and the general public, houses that are painted white garner a lot more interest."
According to the estate agent, the cheap and easy hack will boost a property's value "more than any other quick renovation will do".
Property enthusiasts in the comments section tended to agree. One said: "White is timeless."
Another said: "Nice one, took me three renovations and 23 years to work this out."
A second property expert shared her ideal paint colour to make a property sell, white aside.
According to an estate agent, the key is a grey colour that screams "clean, current and fresh" and will "uplift the whole place".
Another way to increase your property's value is with a paint hack that "makes your home stand out from the crowd".
The experts at Property Mark shared how homeowners can add value to their properties.

An easy way to boost home value is to fix superficial defects. Making minor adjustments can make a big difference without breaking the bank.
Look for superficial defects including peeling paint, dirty walls - especially near door frames and light switches - dripping taps, squeaky floors, doors or stairs, mouldy sealant in kitchens or bathrooms, limescale build-up on kitchen and bathroom fittings, badly fitted laminate flooring and broken lightbulbs.
Decluttering before a home viewing is also essential. Experts said: "Never underestimate a tidy, clean room and pay special attention to high-impact rooms such as the kitchen and bathroom.
"Consider whether there’s too much furniture in each room, as it can make the property feel smaller."
