Bonnie Tyler bought a property by the British seaside
Bonnie Tyler has achieved fame across the world with a string of hits.
She has not lost touch with her Welsh roots, however, and owned a home in south Wales.
Born in Neath Port Talbot, she bought a property nearby in Mumbles.
She spoke of her time there when she received an honorary degree from the University of Swansea.

She said: "Although I have been lucky enough to travel all over the world with my singing, I am as passionate as ever about Wales and Swansea, and I will never forget my roots.
"I still live in Mumbles, just a stone’s throw from the University."
Mumbles is a quiet town in Swansea Bay on the south coast of Wales.
The area has stunning sea views and lots to keep visitors entertained.
"Surround yourself in the history and tradition that this area is steeped with," Visit Swansea Bay stated.
"There’s a Lighthouse built in 1794, and a Victorian Pier. Oystermouth Castle is also well worth a visit, sitting on a hilltop with fabulous views overlooking the sea."
Mumbles is a beautiful place to live but purchasing a home there does not come cheap.
The average price of a detached property in Mumbles is £583,000, according to Rightmove.
