The house has three bedrooms with a private walled garden outside.
While the property is owned by the actor, it became available to rent out last year. Up to six people could stay in the lodge for seven nights from £697.
Prices in the peak summer months were higher, at around £1,290 for a week's stay.
It is located around 25 miles from the beautiful market town of Aberfeldy, where Alan grew up.
Aberfeldy is a stunning part of the UK and visitors have lots of spots to experience the natural beauty that Scotland has to offer.
It is steeped in history and is even mentioned in a poem by Robert Burns.
"Aberfeldy is a pretty, lively town in Highland Perthshire," Visit Scotland states.
"The town is situated on Scotland's longest river, the River Tay, and is home to The Birks of Aberfeldy, made famous by our national bard Robert Burns.
"Burns wrote a poem about The Birks in 1787 and you can follow the footpaths for two miles up to the Falls of Moness, where you will discover spectacular views."
