'The products present a risk of choking'
OPSS
The OPSS stated: "The products present a risk of choking as it has been identified that the red pom poms can easily detach and form a small part capable of fitting inside of a small parts cylinder.
"The product is deemed to be child-appealing therefore, if the child were to pull on the pom pom and cause it to detach, the child may place the small part in their mouth and choke.
"The product does not meet the requirements of the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011.
"The product has been recalled from end users by The Range. Consumers in possession of the product should keep it out of reach from children and cease use.
"If you have any further queries, please contact The Range’s customer care team on 0345 026 7498 or help@therange.co.uk.
"Alternatively, you can access The Range’s recall alerts here: https://www.therange.co.uk/product-recalls/."
The Range's official recall advised: "Remove the cushion from the reach of small children. Please return it to any Range or Wilko store for a full refund.
"If you know someone else who has purchased this product, please ask them to return it for a full refund."
