Product recalls must always be taken seriously to ensure customer safety.

Parents and carers were recently alerted as The Range and Wilko pulled a product from shelves as it poses a "choking risk" to children.

Britons have also been warned that several Amazon products have been removed due to a risk of fires and cuts. Another product poses a "serious risk of injuries".

Just last month, shoppers were alerted as three electric blankets posed a burning risk to users.
