"Should a child access the batteries they may mouth and ingest them, leading to serious injury or death.

Baby carrierThe baby carrier is faulty OPSS

A baby carrier available in the UK has been recalled as it presents a risk of injury. The affected product is the Oscha Slings Onbuhimo Baby Carrier.

The OPSS said: "The product presents a risk of injuries as a fault with the shoulder strap attachment could cause the webbing to detach from the carrier.

"It is possible for the webbing to fray or come away from the carrier’s body, which could result in the baby falling from the carrier unexpectedly and receiving injuries.

"Owners of the Onbuhimo baby carrier are advised to stop using the product immediately and contact Oscha Slings Limited to arrange the return, repair and re-shipment of their carrier."
