Britons have been warned of jewellery sold on Amazon that poses a serious chemical safety risk.

Consumers have been told not to stop using the three affected pieces of jewellery.

The items are unsafe as they contain cadmium, which can cause various health problems.

The Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) warned: "The listing has been removed by the online marketplace (Amazon). We recommend owners stop using the product immediately. Contact the distributor you purchased from to request redress."

This is not the only item to be recalled this week, as Britons were warned of blanket sold on Amazon, eBay, Etsy and TikTok shop.

The electric blanket can overheat when being used, meaning it is unsafe for customers to run.
