Product recalls should always be taken seriously to ensure customer safety. Earlier this month, shoppers were warned that a Christmas decoration found in UK homes poses a "fire risk".

Recently, a heater with a "serious risk of electric shock" was pulled from shelves, with users told to "stop using it immediately".

Health and beauty retailer Boots also issued an urgent warning as a Christmas gift set sold in stores "presents a risk of burns".
