Britons have been notified that an Amazon product is unsafe to use. Therefore, it has been removed from the online marketplace and withdrawn from the market.
Shoppers who have ordered the Dinsheng Milkycat Cute Hot Water Bottle from the E-commerce company will not receive it.

'The product presents a serious risk of electric shock'
OPSS
The Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) issued an official product safety report.
Shoppers were notified: "The product presents a serious risk of electric shock as it can be active/energised whilst the user is filling the product.
"If the hot water bottle was to leak, this could mean leaking water around live parts.
"The plug also had insufficient dimensions with the pins too close to the edge of the plug and was inadequately earthed as it did not contain a fuse.
"The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016, or the Plugs & Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994.
"The product has been withdrawn from the market, and the listing removed by the online marketplace (Amazon)."
