Britons have been warned that multiple products sold at Amazon are unsafe to use.
The Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) has told customers to immediately stop using SoundCore A3102 Speaker (Black), AnkerWork A3302 PowerConf S3 Speakerphone and Anker 321 Power Bank (PowerCore 5K, Black) A1112.

Product description: A cuboid-shaped black speaker with control buttons to the top packaged in a white cardboard box with black writing. Affected products were manufactured between March 2023 and April 2023.

Product description: Black portable power bank. Affected products were purchased between March 1, 2023 and June 6, 2024.
The OPSS told shoppers what to do if they have any of the three products at home. Britons were warned: "The product presents a risk of fire as the lithium-ion battery may overheat, causing the product to ignite.
"The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005."

Customers were warned that "owners should stop using the product immediately".
Affected shoppers were told: "Owners should not dispose of lithium-ion batteries in normal household waste.

The Minister for Employment Rights, Competition and Markets, Justin Madders, told GB News:
"While we’re all hoping for a warm and enjoyable summer, we also want the public to be safe as well. That’s why it’s important that consumers take note of these recalls.
"These recalls exist to save and protect lives, so I urge the public to check what they’re buying, ensure they’re from reputable brands, and check what you may have already bought hasn’t since been recalled."
