In the morning or just before heading out, you may find yourself in a rush and need to quickly get yourself ready before dashing out the door.
To achieve a nice, natural look when in this situation can be incredibly hard but a beauty expert has said whilst this is difficult, it is doable.
Sam, a beauty expert from the YouTube channel, Ladies After 50, explained a simple yet effective routine to get a natural, youthful look.
Sam said: "This is a really quick and easy daytime makeup routine and it looks really natural, not all done up."
The makeup artist said it is important to prepare your skin before applying makeup

To create the natural tone, the expert recommended using a neutral toner to try and achieve the 'no makeup-makeup' route.
She said: "I like to use warm, neutral tones. One line browns, taupes, bronzer to warm up my face. Maybe a touch of blush. I am trying to get the biggest impact with the least amount of effort. I find these warm neutral colours, really help to create a bit of depth and contour for a really natural look."
However before applying any makeup, Sam said people need to prepare their skin for application.
Sam said: "Before you start your makeup, you should prep your skin a little bit and that means moisturise. Nothing is worse than trying to get makeup on dry, flaky skin."
Sam recommended using a foundation that is SPF 15 to avoid premature ageing and to fill it in with a big fluffy brush.
She said: "The first thing I want to do is even out my skin tone but I don't like wearing thick, heavy foundations in the daytime. I use a big fluffy brush and I apply a sheer layer on my face of foundation."
The expert said the most important thing people can do is fill in their eyebrows and if she was in a massive rush, that would be her first port of call.
The beauty expert explained: "Fill in your eyebrows. If there was one thing I would do if I didn't have time to do anything else, it would be to fill in my eyebrows. They frame your eyes and give your eyes a lift to make you look more youthful."

To enhance the natural appearance, the expert advised people to apply some eye cream shadow.
She said: "Apply some cream eyeshadow. Lately, I've been moving towards cream eyeshadows more because as you get older, the skin on your eyelids gets a bit thinner.
"I think powders will settle into the fine lines and make them look more obvious. It's important to blend it to give the natural look."
