Midge Ure lived in a quiet part of London for many years
Midge Ure is best known for performing with popular bands including Thin Lizzy, Visage and Ultravox.
Born in Scotland, he spent years living down south in the 1970s and 1980s.
The musician owned a property in Chiswick, a quiet borough of London.
While the borough is in the UK's capital and close to central London, it has a small village feel.

It is a leafy and picturesque area with traditional pubs and 18th century homes.
Midge purchased a 1930s mansion around 40 years ago, having already lived in Chiswick for many years.
Inside, it had a sizeable wood-panelled reception room, a cellar equipped with a sauna and even an attached one bedroom flat.
It holds a lot of musical history as it used to have a recording studio in the annexe.
Musician Bob Geldof - who has lived in an "atmospheric" British market town for more than 35 years - was even a visitor.
The property recently went on sale for an eye-watering £3.5million.
Before that, it was bought by the former owner in 2021 for a cool £2.8million.
This is above average for the area, but anyone looking to buy there will still need to fork out a small fortune.
