GETTYTo begin with, Shania said: "I always start by lining the outer corners of my lips with a lip liner, making sure to follow my natural lip line.
"For the top lip, which can be a bit trickier, I draw a V-shape on my cupid’s bow first. Then, I drag the liner down from the V to meet the outer corners, creating a clean and precise outline.
"This method makes it easier to get a polished, flawless look."
Her expert tip is: "I like to use smaller strokes because doing it bit by bit will allow you to have a lot more precision when you are lining your lips."
It is important to take time to make sure you are accurate when lining your lips.
The expert's method can be quick but it is key to get a solid lining before adding lipstick.
Shania said: "Once I’ve primed and filled in my entire lips with the lip liner, I use a matte lipstick, and swipe it evenly across my lips.
"To make sure my lipstick stays put and does not end up on my teeth, I use a simple trick; I place one of my fingers between my lips, purse them together, and then pull my finger out.
