End of M&Co: Two major store to shut for good this week with 168 more to follow

Two more M&Co stores will close their doors forever this week after the clothing brand fell into administration at the start of December.
Despite the brand and intellectual property being bought by Yours Clothing in February, the deal did not include saving the physical stores.
It means all of M&Co's branches will be shut down shortly.
Already six stores shut on April 1, with three others closing their doors for good at the end of March.

This week, on Tuesday April 11, chain's Upminster store will close down.
The on Saturday, April 15, the retailer's Egham shop will also shut for the final time.
Closure dates for the two stores were confirmed on Facebook.
A Facebook post for the Upminster store read: "We will close our doors on Tuesday 11th April.
"We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our loyal customers for your custom and friendship throughout the years.
"We look forward to seeing you all in the coming days."
A similar message on the Egham Facebook page simply said: "Last day of trading for Egham store will be Saturday, April 15."
M&Co's remaining 168 stores will all close in the near future.
Administrator Tenet said that it would close the stores as stock began to run out and therefore could not give an exact final date for the brand's presence on UK high streets at this time.
As many as 1,910 employees are set to lose their jobs because of the closures.
M&Co's administration in December was the second time in just two years that the store had suffered financial difficulty.
It first entered administration in 2020 before being bought by the McGeoch family.
